The conference : “Honor based Violence : Quebec and Canadian Perspective on support for victims and work with communities.”
May 19 & 20, 2015, Montreal
The goal of the conference organized by The Shield of Athena and held on May 19 & 20, 2015 was to break the taboos associated with honor based violence, demystify the issues that stigmatize certain communities and begin a dialogue between ethnic communities and people in different fields of intervention. The dialogue would be for individuals to share their knowledge that could possibly help in the global and collective prevention of HBV.
